I would travel 2,790 miles just to see you, just to hug you, just to be in the same vicinity of you. Estimated arrival time would be 1 day and 15 hours till I reach my destination, your arms and although it seems long, it would all be worth it. It is hard enough to make local relationships work, but having miles, states, and sometimes even an ocean between you shouldn’t scare you from trying to make love work. Long distance relationships can and do exist. Long Distance relationships are a true test to a couple’s commitment and personal limits and although it gets hard, the end if always worth it. They take a great amount of effort to maintain, there will be no guarantees that any relationship will survive, whether it’s long distance or not, but if you work at it everyday with your partner, I promise there’s no reason why it can’t work.

Know that trust is a major necessity if you wish to have your relationship from a distance. Without trust and honesty, the relationship will falter. By accepting the challenge of a long distance relationship, you also accepted the fact that you will have to have trust and faith in your partner. Being paranoid and accusing will only grow doubts, insecurity and tension between you and none of those three will help the relationship survive successfully. I have a lot of respect for a couple who can keep a long distance relationship going strong, because their faith is what many relationships need.

Know that with the right amount of effort and interest on both parts, a long distance relationship can survive the obstacles. Although it will frequently be challenged with, as long as you both refresh your memories of why you chose to do this in the first place, trust each other, inform one another of your personal lives, keep in touch, and visit, your relationship can turn out to be one of the most successful and happy relationships that ever existed. You both will be secure, happy and satisfied until the day comes when you will re unite for good and build your wonderful future together. <3
